Monday night, after a busy day in the office and a late dinner (you know all about those if you own a practice)
I’m setting down to plan today’s client consulting day and my Facebook and Twitter feeds start going nuts on my iPad.
And another feed on my iPhone. I was just about to finish a David Baldacci novel…
Ordinarily, I wouldn’t jump, but these are groups of patients a couple names I instantly recognized wanting my expertise on antibiotic related neuropathy, and some more questions on neuropathy and pain devices and supplements and lifestyle mods…
Before I knew it, 2 hours had past and I’m falling asleep in my chair- I signed off just before midnight and awoke with an invite this AM
to be the medical pro in a support group for these incredible patients.
The sad part? Too many private practice owners are oblivious to where their patients are really meeting, and talking about what they really need- and it’s not some therapist who just learned a new technique.
Patients are looking for bona fide experts to help them recover from serious illnesses…
